I scrapped this layout for a challenge on Ellie Lash's CT blog.

I used the template provided and used Ellie's Star Gazing mini kit.

the text says:

My husband made these sandals for me - from scratch. He wove the strappy parts and then traced my feet and cut and shaped the bases. He then figured out where the straps needed to go for my feet and glued the bases in place. He then attached that to the foam base and added a small wedge for the heel. It was such a thoughtful gift and one that I will always cherish.

I altered these letters for a friend as a baby shower gift.

The smudged part on the first B is where the baby's name went but have smudged it for privacy.

Before embellishments but covered with paper (the solid sheets are Bazzill cardstock with a nice shimmer to them, I don't know who made the patterned paper)

After embellishment - all the circles are punched out from the patterned paper with the 2 large circles on the Y punched out from the solid cardstock from the other letters.
